We keep you involved from start to finish, from the initial briefing of your vision, right through to handing over the keys. Most importantly, we take the time to understand exactly how you and your family want to live in your home, making sure that every element is designed so that you come home to quality and live in comfort.
1.Initial phone/email to discuss project
So you’ve decided to build! Once you approach us with your vision, we’ll get in touch to discuss your project – what you envision, expect and any concerns.
2.Site Inspection and Meeting
If you’re happy with what we’ve initially discussed, we’ll arrange a site inspection and meeting to iron out the details and gain a greater understanding of the scope of project.
3.Concept Design Phase
Once we have confirmed the details, our team will get to work, bringing your vision to life with comprehensive concept plans and a cost estimate to suit your budget.
4.Development Application Phase
If you are happy with the concept plans and our costings, we’ll move forward with the second stage – gaining development approval, completing the engineering and BASIX documentation, as well as all the final tender documents ready for contract signing.
We’re nearly there! One of the final administrative elements of the pre-construction is of course, the contract. With an ethos of full transparency, we make sure that as much as possible is included, meaning no nasty surprises during construction.
With all the paperwork complete we will provide a Home Building Compensation Fund policy for your project and then it’s time to put down the initial deposit, confirming work can begin. Our next step is to lodge the Construction Certificate, schedule all the required trades in for the project and confirm the start date.
We get to work bringing your vision to life! Throughout the entire construction process, we’ll make sure you’re kept informed every step of the way, with updates via email, phone and site walk-throughs.
It’s time to enjoy your new home! We’ll hand over the keys and should you have any issues within the first six months, we’ll pop in to perform maintenance.
